Just what I wanted! If you are looking for a bench to make a huge statement in an ordinary, bland room, this isn't the bench for you. But if you, like me, need a bench to fit into an already busy room full of prints and patterns, this bench is perfect. It is understated and casual, while still appearing rich and stylish. I've been sitting on it for hours at my writing desk and it is comfortable and functional for my purpose. I have it as a seat while I work, and either my dog or my notebook fits nicely beside me while a work. The inside storage is more than adequate. The wooden legs go nicely with the writing desk that I also purchased from Great Offer Stock a few weeks prior to finding this bench. I am very pleased with the purchase. Also, it arrived one day early, so that was a very nice surprise!

Product Arrived As Described, OnlyOne Small Issue The bench is nice, it looks like the picture. The only issue I had is that it arrived with one small stain on the top part, where someone would sit. I'm going to try to treat the stain, I'm hoping it comes out. Its very small, but noticeable because the stain is black and the fabric is tan. The inside is lined in black fabric and has a lot of room for storage. Very minor assembly required, only had to screw in the legs. No tools needed, they screwed right into place. I would have given 5 stars if it didn't have a stain.

Classic elegance This storage bench it's beautifully made. It is a beautiful as it shows in the picture. The fabric and brass nail heads give it an elegant expensive look. It's very well made. The storage area is large enough to keep linens, pillows, or comforters. The top remains open by itself without having to hold it open. It's also easy to assemble. Just screw on the beautifully designed wooden legs and you're done. Heavy and sturdy enough for seating when you need to. The price is phenomenal. I did my comparison research...no one else could match the low price with this high quality. Super fast free shipping. I will buy another one for the front entrance, excellent for storing, gloves, hats and scarves. The bench lid fully opens, not just the semi-opened amount as referenced in the photo. It's a beautiful, classic design, and I have had multiple compliments on it, since receiving it. Because you can open it all the way, it's perfect for storage and holds quite a bit. I drape a beautiful throw over it, for just a subtle touch of color. This is a wonderful value and look, you won't be disappointed.

Thus far it has held up. I have the light beige. If it gets dirty fterbthis review I found a pet stain spray that has worked well in the past. I am very pleased thus far

My bench arrived with the lid broken off. Looked like it had fallen off a truck, box mangled, taped together. Should have been returned to warehouse, instead delivered broken mess to my door. I wasn't home when it was delivered or I would have refused it. My husband tried to reattach the lid, don't know what kind of wood is underneath the fabric, but it's junk. My husband said it was like trying to put screws into sawdust. So now this piece of junk sits in my basement for storage. Contacted Great Offer Stock by email, never replied. Guess they didn't want to see negative reviews. Never posted my 0 review. My days of buying furniture from Great Offer Stock are over. Never contacted me to replace this piece of crap. Now the lid sits cockeyed, not attached on the right corner. Sorry don't know how to send a pic. Good luck. I didn't want to have to purchase a box at my expense, and pay an arm and leg to ship this junk back. Not happy with Great Offer Stock. I shop ****.

Hinges aren't completely hidden but they do not stick out and barely show. They are attached well to the piece and do not take away from how nice it is. I absolutely love this bench and the storage is great for my throws. It is very sturdy also. It looks great with the rest of of my furniture. I've gotten lots of compliments. Marcia, that is really a shame that happened and Great Offer Stock should see this post and fix the problem. Whoever delivered it needs to held responsible. I would stay on that and make sure it gets taken care of. My experience was very different. I received it boxed up very well and delivered to my door, in one piece. The chest is beautiful, the nail heads are spaced correctly and straight. The color is perfect too. I'm kinda a furniture snob and thought that this piece was a really good quality for what I paid for it. I've looked at others that were cheaply made and cost an arm and a leg. This one didn't disappoint me at all. I wish that everyone would have the same good experience when receiving an order. That's the way it should be.

I bought two for Christmas gifts to my adult daughters to use however they want: one has it at the foot of her bed, the other has it as an entry bench and keeps gloves and scarves in. It could definitely be used as an ottoman, and, with a tray, a coffee table. It looks great from all angles. I would just be sure to scotch guard it really well first!

Actually, that is exactly how we use ours, as an ottoman/coffee table. As an ottoman it can be shared by two people. To use it as a coffee table we place a tray on top.
